RRC History with CUPE
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (formerly known as The New Town of Fort McMurray) has been in agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees since November 23, 1972.
On February 20, 2014 the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 1505 signed with the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo to become their bargaining agent. This agreement was certified by the Alberta Labour Relations Board.
Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 1505 is certified as the bargaining agent for a unit of employees of Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo described as All employees.
